22nd April 2018 was the Golden day for IIHP’s Sirsa unit when it held a one day seminar on occasion of Dr. SamuelHahnemann’s 263rd birthday celebrations at JCD Vidhyapeeth Auditorium, Sirsa. The program kick-started with lightening of a lamp and garlanding Dr. Samuel Hahnemann by chief guest, Dr. Harprakash Sharma,Chairman Homoeopathic Council of Haryana and other dignitaries like Dr. Rajpreet Singh Brar, Dr. VinodSangwan, Dr. Navneet Bidani, Dr. Suresh Nandal, Dr. H.S. Mondal, Dr. Manjeet Kaur, Dr. Abdul Hamid, , Dr. Anil Sharma, Dr. Manphool Dhiman, Dr. NirmalTej Singh Sodhi, Dr. Rakesh Dinodia, Dr. SurinderBishnoi, Dr. Munish Juneja, Dr. U.K Khanna, Dr. Gurpreet Sindhra, Dr. Poonia, Dr. Mittra,Dr. Kamal Jindal, Dr. Vimal Dhawan, Dr. Mandhir and others.
Dr. ChandniMittra (Treasurer, IIHP Haryana) and Dr. RituDhillon welcomed the delegates and introduced the dignitaries and speakers. The presidential address by Dr. Rajpreet Singh Brar motivated everyone and there was a loud round of applause when he invited the first speaker of the day Dr. MUKTINDER SINGH. Dr. Muktinder from Ludhiana, an eminent personality in the field of Homoeopathy gave his presentation on handling paediatric patients with psychological and pathological disorders. He beautifully explained the remedy MOSCHUS and narrated why it is given under a rubric, Spoiled Children. He further showed a case of spina bifida where there were very less hopes of survival and how homeopathy helped that child.Everybody appreciated his extensive knowledge and hard-work while preparing his lecture.
Next speaker was Dr. RavinderPuri, (PhD Psychology) from Sirsa, who gave a lecture on psychological understanding of human being and body language. He with his understanding guided us that how a psychological assessment of a patient helps a homoeopath in selecting an appropriate remedy. He further differentiated people in two categories, ‘SUR’ – soft spoken, good at heart and ‘SHOR’ – harsh, irritable and ill at heart, and narrated how to handle such people.
The scientific sessions were finally capped by felicitation and award presentation. Dr. Rajpreet Singh Brar, President IIHP – Haryana proposed the vote of thanks by admiring the faculty and appreciating the efforts of the team and thanked the audience too. The success of this seminar goes to the entire team of IIHP – Sirsa. The core team includes Dr. Rakesh Dinodia, Dr. Mandhir Singh Sandhu, Dr. Sangeeta Sachdeva, Dr. Jaswinder Singh, Dr. Smriti Madan, Dr. Kamal Jindal, Dr. Ankit Mittra and many more.Everybody appreciated the team effort.
